摘要: Plant diseases have a direct impact on the productivity of crops, and therefore early detection is crucial. Abutilon mosaic virus (AbMV) (family Geminiviridae; genus Begomovirus) an important infecting ornamental crops throughout world. hybridum showing bright yellow symptoms were observed in gardens Tumbaco, Ecuador. The infection was confirmed by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) using degenerate begomovirus primers. amplicon (∼500 bp) sequenced, submitted to NCBI (KP877621) showed 68.7–100% 72.7–100% sequence identity with other begomoviruses at nucleotide amino acid levels, respectively. In order evaluate Raman spectroscopy as diagnostic tool for AbMV infection, spectra leaves from healthy infected plants recorded. signals carotenoids are most features there significant decrease intensity these bands when plant infected. difference bands, particularly one 1526 cm−1, proposed basis viral plants.
