摘要: Abstract Objectives For patients with sarcoidosis, no consensus exists about the management of osteoporosis, whether related or unrelated to glucocorticoid therapy. Methods We report first series 4 patients histologically documented sarcoidosis who received teriparatide therapy for severe osteoporosis manifesting as a fracture cascade multilevel vertebral fractures. When was started, 1 patient receiving 10 mg prednisone equivalents per day, 1 progressively tapering dose, 2 had never any treatment. Results In all 4 patients, effective in halting cascade, including 2 patients remained on long-term None developed hypercalcemia. During therapy, 3 patients underwent flare complication sarcoidosis. Only patient stable treatment did not present adverse event. Before initiation, been well controlled several years. Conclusions Even if implication is unclear, appearance events 3 out this small suggest caution use
