摘要: The prevention of fragility fractures in patients with sarcoidosis is a serious concern and the potential risk hypercalcemia limits vitamin D calcium supplementation. objective this study was to evaluate factors for low bone mineral density (BMD) sarcoidosis. In particular, we aimed determine link among metabolism population. We performed cross-sectional analysis on 142 consecutive histologically proven BMD prevalence vertebral X-rays were assessed association studied by regression analysis. Fragility occurred 23.5% patients, despite normal mean multivariate analysis, dietary calcium, fracture, age, gender menopause associated increased BMD. Low high current corticosteroid dose creatinine clearance fracture. Serum 25(OH)D between 10 20 ng/ml significantly higher Conversely, values greater than level inversely correlated disease activity. Of note, supplements serum dose-dependent manner but had no effect level. Sarcoidosis have fracture not having lowered suggesting that other independent are involved. Current dose, levels fragility. sarcoidosis, supplementation might be warranted, desirable lower those advised general
