摘要: The effect of magnesium deficiency on vitamin D metabolism was assessed in 23 hypocalcemic magnesium-deficient patients by measuring the serum concentrations 25-hydroxyvitamin (25OHD) and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin [1,25-(OH2D] before, during, after 5-13 days parenteral therapy. Magnesium therapy raised mean basal [1.0 ± 0.1 (mean SEM) mg/dl] calcium levels (7.2 0.2 mg/dl) into normal range (2.2 9.3 mg/dl, respectively; P < 0.001). 25OHD concentration low (13.2 1.5 ng/ml) before administration did not significantly change this (14.8 ng/ml).
