摘要: Objective: To compare the first two weeks of tolerability clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide gel versus adapalene/benzoyl followed by six open-label therapy in subjects with mild-to-moderate acne who participated eight-week, identically designed, clinical studies. Methods: Using a split-face method, patients received both and once daily for (allocation to right or left side face was randomized) an investigator-blinded fashion. Patients then went on receive further open-label, full-face gel. The primary outcome signs symptoms during treatment using investigator-assessed 4-point rating scale. Secondary endpoints included assessment severity (Investigator Static Global Assessment lesion counts), quality life, product acceptability/preference, patient assessments safety. Results: Of 76 enrolled studies, 72 completed them. Overall products were well tolerated, but mean scores erythema, dryness, peeling significantly higher than at Weeks 1 2 (p<0.03). also rated more tolerable redness, burning, itching, scaling (p 0.0073). Mean Investigator score improved continued show significant improvement baseline when (p<0.001 Week 8). Lesion counts throughout study reductions from occurring 5 8 (p<0.0001 time points total counts). Clindamycin/benzoyl most adverse events severity. Conclusion: had better regard treatment.
