摘要: Migration of L3 larvae Nippostrongylus brasiliensis through the lungs rat, during primary infection, was studied at 24 h, 72 h and 8 days. At p.i., there evidence damage to lung epithelial cells microvasculature, with increased protein γ-glutamyl transpeptidase in bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid. However, little inflammatory cell recruitment. a significant reduction cytokine tumour necrosis factor α. Superoxide (O2−·) production also reduced, accompanied by an increase superoxide dismutase activity. Lipid peroxidation reduced p.i. were shown possess high levels glutathione compared host tissue. Nitric oxide, detected as nitrite, produced BAL fluid, inducible nitric oxide synthase There peroxynitrite throughout infection period specific bands nitrosylated 75, 30 25 kDa. It appears that despite early damage, inflammation response N. brasiliensis.
