摘要: Background: The food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) has been used throughout the world for epidemiological purposes. Because dietary habits vary greatly, FFQ must be tailored use with specific populations. usefulness of FFQs in Japan was assessed by reviewing questionnaires developed and validated that country. Methods: A literature search conducted to identify articles on development and/or validation Japanese For each identified, studies were abstract its characteristics information. correlation coefficients between diet records (DRs) estimates those same completed twice evaluate validity reproducibility, respectively, questionnaires. Results: Twenty-one eligible identified. They found reasonably valid reproducible. median DRs ranged from 0.31 0.56 target nutrients, within a period 9 months 1 year 0.50 0.72. Relatively poor consumption potatoes, seaweed, sodium, niacin, polyunsaturated fatty acids. purpose analysis, divided into long (97 or more items) short (<70 items); former had slightly higher validity. Conclusion: are useful assessing intake Japan, although careful consideration is required groups nutrients which low validity.
