摘要: Despite the progress in quality of multiphasic CT and MRI scans, it is still difficult to fully characterize a solid kidney lesion. Approximately 10% all renal tumours turn out be oncocytomas. In actual clinical practice, this verified only following unnecessary surgery or biopsy/ablation. The objective our pilot study examines whether 99mTc-sestamibi SPECT/CT can play crucial role characterization neoplasms differentiation oncocytomas from cell carcinomas. included 27 patients identified with 31 lesions. All were discussed multidisciplinary conference, decision for biopsy was taken. Prior invasive procedures, underwent 99mTc-sestamibi. Visual evaluation performed, any focal uptake detected on SPECT localisation tumour considered as positive. Eleven 12 (91.6%) displayed positive Three hybrid (mixed-type oncocytoma chromophobe cancer) SPECT/CT. One papillary carcinoma had slight remaining 11 carcinomas sestamibi negative. Differentiation benign seems very promising examination. Additional supplement visual evaluation, i.e. quantitative tools, should sought an accurate estimate biological behaviour hence secure diagnosis.
