摘要: Background Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) is involved in tumor pathogenesis of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The aim this study was an investigation the potential influence GDF15 on radioresistance OSCC cells vitro. Methods Oral lines were irradiated with 0, 2, or 6 Gy, and expression supernatant per survived colony examined ELISA. Non-irradiated 6 Gy evaluated for using immunofluorescent staining. For further effects radioresistance, a knockdown model human line established, apoptotic activity after radiation measured Caspase-Glo 3/7 system. Results ELISA staining indicated increased 5 compared gingival epithelial cells. Irradiation two six gray resulted significant elevation (P < 0.001). Furthermore, dose-dependent seen. Immunofluorescent confirmed elevated (n = 10; P ≤ 0.001). Apoptotic significantly irradiation group control (n = 24; P < 0.001). Conclusion This describes first time vital role both tumorigenesis With its anti-apoptotic effects, possibly promotes progression might protect against effects. Consequently, may be promising therapeutic target cancer.
