摘要: The existence of specific genes which could transform normal cells into tumour was first demonstrated in studies retroviruses isolated from avian or rodent tumours (1). prototype oncogene is the src gene Rous Sarcoma virus. This virus induces with a short latent period chickens and it has been using temperature sensitive mutants that sre to be expressed order transformation should occur (2). Over twenty additional oncogenes have subsequently discovered different retrovirus isolates. products these can classified several categories according their cellular localization biochemical function as tyrosine kinases (src family) GTP-binding proteins (ras family). biological role unknown, only ascribed are those related growth factors (sis gene) factor receptors (erb B gene). Some oncogenes, for example belonging ras family myc gene, on occasions entirely independent viruses, suggesting they play very important induction.
