Dead and moribund crayfish again detected several episodes 2001 October range reduced headwaters just one three streams watershed. Water quality for appropriate habitation. Bacteriology mycology on collected failed reveal a cause. histopathology revealed high occurrence intranuclear eosinophilic inclusions hepatopancreatocytes pallipes. The nuclei hypertrophic contained bacilliform virions consisting cylindrical nucleocapsid surrounded trilaminar envelope. Virions section approximately 63 x 258 nm nucleocapsids 52 225 nm. It is unclear whether virus cause or contributor disease complex involving other undetected pathogens.
