摘要: Samarium-153 EDTMP has been proposed as a radionuclide therapeutic agent to treat malignant bone tissue disorders. Data obtained from laboratory rats used calculate the radiation dose for humans following administration of (/sup 153/Sm)EDTMP. The data reveal that highest doses are present in skeleton and urinary bladder wall (bladder varies with frequency voiding). Skeletal activity was estimate marrow 153/Sm)EDTMP beta radiation. Although this indicates high irradiation it is only an approximation since inhomogeneously deposited surrounding produces variable distributions.
