摘要: Epilepsy is common in patients with brain tumors. Patients presenting seizures as the first sign of a malignant glioma are at increased risk recurrent despite treatment antiepileptic drugs. However, little known about incidence epilepsy last stage disease and end–of-life phase tumor patients. We retrospectively analyzed months life series affected by high-grade gliomas who were assisted home during whole course until death. A total 157 available for analysis. Of these patients, 58 (36.9 %) presented month before The end-of-life higher previous history epilepsy, particularly late-onset epilepsy. Out life, 86.2 % had previously 13.8 seizure free. Most may encounter swallowing difficulties taking anticonvulsants orally due to dysphagia disturbances consciousness, thus anticonvulsant needs be modified advance.
