摘要: Abstract The problem of the steady symmetric motion a Boussinesq fluid is considered for system with small aspect ratio. It assumed that driven by applying periodic heat flux to horizontal boundaries. Solutions are first found non-rotating in which nonlinear effects small, but not zero. solutions show if heated from above, meridional circulation tends be concentrated near upper boundary at point where cooling maximum; when below lower paint heating maximum.
