摘要: Regulatory T (T(reg)) cells play a pivotal role in immune suppression and are integral to the control of allergic responses. The chronic inflammatory skin condition atopic dermatitis (AD) is severest patients who sensitized allergens from diverse sources including foods, pollens animal danders, as well skin-colonizing organisms. These individuals typically present with eczematous eruptions early childhood, evolution disease thought reflect an underlying dysregulated T-cell response that manifests Th2 response. Studying T(reg) context AD infancy into adulthood could yield insight their pathogenesis reveal new strategies for exploiting these therapeutic purposes. Such studies challenging humans owing heterogeneous nature cells, lack reliable surface marker, paucity knowledge surrounding emergence specialized life. Moreover, blurred distinction between activated effector further complicates disorders such AD. There emerging evidence suggest can convert this pathway bidirectional. This phenomenon may be double-edged sword important implications not only subverting disease, but also potential treatments designed amplify order suppress cascade
