摘要: Abstract The relatively poor mechanical strengths of ordinary hydrogels confine their extensive practical applications in many areas. In this work, we fabricated the poly(acrylamide) (PAAm)/hectorite (Laponite ® XLS) double-network (DN) containing neutral PAAm microgels, which displayed higher strength than without microgels. was up to 110 KPa with 2 wt% hectorite and 0.028% N , ′-methylenebisacrylamide (MBAA). hydrogel system, continuous phase loosely physical crosslinked PAAm/hectorite matrix, while disperse rigidly chemical Then further explored influence microgel concentration, MBAA concentration on behavior hydrogels. Meanwhile, effect swelling ratio investigated. These results showed that microgels increased crosslinking degree formed DN novel microgel-reinforced nanocomposite (NC) network, might be potential materials for biological area.
