摘要: Our aim was to analyse the influence of size, shape and number particles on pathogenesis osteolysis. We obtained peri-implant tissues from 18 patients having revision surgery for aseptically loosened Freeman total knee replacements (10), Charnley hip (3) Imperial College/London Hospital double-cup surface (5). The size polyethylene were characterised using SEM their concentration calculated. results analysed with reference presence radiological osteolysis. The in 6 areas osteolysis significantly higher than that 12 without There no significant differences between these two groups. We conclude most critical factor is accumulated tissue.
