Deuterated Derivatives of 3,5-Dimethyl-1-(4-nitrophenyl)pyrazole for Nonlinear Optical Materials

摘要: A weak absorption of laser light by a nonlinear optical crystal causes noticeable temperature rise in the crystal. Such may undesirably shift reflactive indices (some characteristics) 3,5-dimethyl-1-(4-nitrophenyl)pyrazole [DMNP], an excellent material, was deuterated order to suppress its 1 μm wavelength region. Three deriatives were synthesized; their structures identical with that DMNP. The deuteration pyrazole part including two methyl moieties proved be more effective than phenyl (benzene ring) regard reduction IR absorption. good correlation confirmed between elevation under irradiation and
