摘要: Abstract Toxoplasma gondii is a parasite of great medical and veterinary importance that has worldwide distribution causes toxoplasmosis. There are few treatments available for toxoplasmosis the search plant extracts compounds with anti-Toxoplasma activity utmost discovery new active drugs. The objective this study was to investigate action protein extract protease inhibitor enriched fraction from J. curcas seed cake on developing tachyzoites T. gondii-infected Vero cells. (JcCE) obtained after solubilization 100 mM sodium borate buffer, pH 10, centrifugation dialysis resulting supernatant extracting buffer. JcCE used in vitro assays at 0.01, 0.1, 0.5, 1.5, 3.0 5.0 mg/ml concentration 24 h. results showed reduced percentage infection number intracellular parasites, but had no effect morphology cells up 3.0 mg/mL. cysteine fraction, which chromatography Sephadex G-75 presented unique band following SDS–PAGE, both T. gondii infected parasites. These suggest interfere growth T. gondii.
