摘要: This study used three separate methods to evaluate sexual behavior in boars previously classified as having high (H), intermediate (INT), or low (L) levels of behavior. Boars were initially evaluated for at 9.6 10.6 mo age with a tethered female 5 min. subsequently 10 min (TF), group females (FG), continuously cohabitation environment 113 h (C). When the TF procedure they mounted less time ( P < .01) and copulated sooner (P <.01) than when FG procedure. Regardless whether was used, L cumulated nosing sides took longer first mount H INT boars. Proportion successful matings not different between procedure; however, proportion by (91.7%), (79.2%), (45.8%) did differ <.001). With C procedure, classification affected average number (H, 4.7; INT, 2.3; L,.33). indicates that traits expressed boar are similar female, females, environment.
