摘要: The mandible is an uncommon presentation site for lymphoma and misdiagnosis common. Eleven patients with of the were seen between 1947 1983. In 5 11 patients, diagnosis could not be established from initial biopsy additional material examination was required. three this resulted in a partial or total removal mandible. recent histopathologic review, diffuse large cell made seven, undifferentiated (non-Burkitt's) two, (Burkitt's) one, unclassified one. Using Ann Arbor method staging, six determined to have stage IE disease; had IIE, two IV. 10 definitive treatment consisted radiotherapy, chemotherapy, combination both. Treatment limited surgery one patient. 5-year overall disease-free survival rates 62% 50%, respectively. These results are comparable those other extranodal head neck sites.
