摘要: Background: Musculoskeletal disorders affecting medical personnel should never be treated lightly. It has thus become necessary to strictly infuse ergonomics in practice order tackle the occurrence of musculoskeletal system disorders. This would ensure better productivity among personnel. research was conducted determine knowledge, attitude and prevention work-related doctors working at University Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital.Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study design employed carrying out this Port Harcourt Hospital. Multistage sampling utilized selecting a sample population 223 for study. Data collection done using semi-structured self-administered questionnaire. Ethical approval conduct gotten from ethics committee. Consent, confidentiality, privacy beneficence were ensured For test associations, statistical significance set 0.05.Results: Majority respondents had good knowledge towards disorders’ work. The ergonomic principles however not satisfactory. Occurrence significantly associated with required prevent these disorders.Conclusion: Despite significant proportion having work, only few satisfactorily practiced preventive measures inadvertently resulted high prevalence found is recommended that re-orientation more involved actual application while no matter compulsion or desire get work done.
