摘要: Plant species have developed in the course of evolution through a series mechanisms which optimize their relationships with environments they live. As plants are sessile organisms, cannot avoid extreme stress situations can be deleterious. Although word is well known, it has proven to very elusive concept, and term used scientific literature many different ways contexts (Qureshi et al. 2007). Thus, result from changes abiotic factors, such as mechanical damage, climatic factors chemical or physical modifications environment, biotic pathogen attack. In some cases, been defined any change under growth conditions disrupt metabolic homeostasis, requiring an adjustment pathways process usually referred acclimation (Shulaev 2008). The concept broad, induced responses work at levels according nature duration conditions.
