摘要: In this chapter we provide an overview of the results obtained on both lead based and free ferroelectric thin films deposited by PLD, in relation with actual scientific economic tendencies. There is increasing trend to replace or reduce use toxic elements such as lead, but there no obvious complete solution for problem, types multifunctional oxides having attractive properties. The perovskite materials, ABO3 oxides, environmental-friendly not, will continue be studied their properties enhanced through different methods. Moreover, these (piezoeletric, ferroelectric, transport, optical magnetic), new functionalities material can added modified help nanostructuring techniques. Properties PLZT PMN-PT were investigated. compositions have interesting dielectric electro-optic behaviour. effect self-polarization relaxor could interest pyrosensors other applications pyroelectric effect. As regarding lead-free oxide obtaining characterisation SBN NBT-BT presented. For films, resulting value coefficient r eff was calculated higher than values reported LiNbO3. Having a rather high Curie temperature, 128 °C, compared Sr content compositions, SBN:50 potentially used devices operating near room temperature. Solid-solution systems (1−x)NBT-xBT Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NBT) BaTiO3 (BT) investigated: situated at morphotropic phase boundary between rhombohedral tetragonal phase, piezoelectric huge electric field-induced strain been obtained.
