摘要: In this study the early evolution and potential origins of canine parvovirus (CPV) were examined. We cloned sequenced VP2 capsid protein genes three German CPV strains isolated in 1979-1980, as well two feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) vaccine viruses that previously shown to have some restriction enzyme cleavage sites common with CPV. Other partial gene sequences obtained by amplifying DNA from paraffin-embedded tissues dogs which disease cases Germany 1978-1979. Sequences analysed respect their evolutionary relationships other FPV isolates. Those analyses did not support hypothesis emerged a variant an virus. Neither they reveal ancestral among very isolates possible sources for origin are examined, including involvement wild carnivores.
