摘要: Analysis of canine parvovirus (CPV) isolates with a panel monoclonal antibodies showed that after 1986, most viruses isolated from dogs in many parts the United States differed antigenically prior to date. The new antigenic type (designated CPV 2b) has largely replaced previous (CPV 2a) among virus States. This represents second occurrence this DNA since its emergence 1978, as original 2) had previously been between 1979 and 1981 by 2a strain. sequence comparisons types 2b few two nonsynonymous (amino acid-changing) nucleotide substitutions VP-1 VP-2 capsid protein genes. One mutation, resulting an Asn-Asp difference at residue 426 sequence, was shown comparison neutralization-escape mutant selected non-CPV 2b-reactive antibody determine change. mutation antibody, His-Tyr amino acid 222, immediately adjacent three-dimensional structure capsid. are phylogenetically closely related probably derived common ancestor. Phylogenetic analysis progressive evolution away type. pattern viral appears similar seen some influenza A viruses.
