Variants of Yolk Sac Tumor

摘要: Abstract: In recent years, the clinical significance of certain variants yolk sac tumor has become evident. To be considered a variant form, must composed predominantly or entirely single histologic pattern. Because their rarity, unusual features, and dissimilarity to typical tumor, these may present diagnostic challenges. Some occur in site, such as polyvesicular vitelline ovary, special situation, parietal mesenchyme-like recurrences testicular after chemotherapy. The latter are unresponsive chemotherapy used for germ cell tumors, therefore, therapy is mainly operative. Other include solid, glandular, hepatoid, those with secondary neoplasm. This review largely confined gonadal tumors.
