摘要: Abstract Consistency of phase patterns in EEG records from the hippocampal system and midbrain reticular formation have been examined course behavioral training five cats with implated electrodes. These studies involved novel application computing techniques, including continuous measurement amplitude characteristics single wave trains by digital filtering use cross-spectral analyses calculation complex transfer functions, averaging during repeated performances coherence functions examinations. It was found that rhythmicity appeared computed average at rate dominant frequency as T-maze performance reached a high level, related to reduction scatter levels. Reversal cues associated an immediate brief increase average, then decline followed progressive reemergence rhymicity end retraining. Continuous phase-and-amplitude examinations delayed response indicated rhythmic modulation on apparently appearing periods discrimination. Comparison probability bounds analysis polar coordinate display major differences relations between different regions correct responses certain circumstances, consistency findings are discussed relation stochastic model cerebral system, reference possible role process handling storage information.
