摘要: In a 3-year joint research project, approved in 1995 by the European Commission, methods for advanced treatment and disinfection of municipal wastewater to permit reuse agriculture were investigated. Pathogen inactivation, by-products (DBP) formation cost effectiveness involving UV rays, ozone (O3) peracetic acid (PAA) evaluated. The investigation was carried out on effluents which had received different degrees (secondary, clarified, clarified-filtered) 100 m3/h pilot plant that designed, built operated at West Bari (S. Italy) plant. Under experimental conditions investigated, WHO microbial guideline unrestricted (1,000 CFU/100ml Faecal Coliforms) easily achieved with all three disinfectants, while corresponding Italian standard (2 CFU/100ml) effectively met only an OM selected pathogens affected and, part, O3. No DBPs detected PAA, limited aldehydes found
