摘要: In the last 20 years we have seen tremendous progress in field of plant molecular biology. This has been due largely to our ability transform single cells, which can then be regenerated into complete plants. this way, it is possible genetically engineer plants with specific desired traits. Plant cell transformation achieved by chemical or physical means, but most widely used protocols utilize elegant system gram negative soil bacterium, Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
