摘要: The ability of acidic phospho- and sphingolipids to interact with basic proteins was studied by double diffusion analysis. phospholipids, tri- diphosphoinositide, the sphingolipid, sulfatide, interacted myelin protein as evidenced precipitin line formation. Of sialoglycosphingolipids (gangliosides) tested, only myelin-specific monosialoganglioside, GM41 , formed a protein. In addition, retarded activity Clostridium perfringens neuraminidase against GM4 disialoganglioside, GD1b. Examination purified rat brain suggested presence intrinsic myelin. This finding, in concert ganglioside-myelin complexes which selectively protect neuraminidase, may provide physiological explanation for simplified ganglioside pattern found
