摘要: The age of the Saint-Macaire maar sediment, in northwest Mediterranean coastal plain, is between 1.4 and about 0.7 Ma. pollen diagrams indicate an open xeric vegetation (steppe). moderate percentages thermophilous trees support hypothesis refugia along north shoreline as far back Early Pleistocene.
