摘要: Abstract Optical properties of Sr 2 CeO 4 :Yb nanocrystals synthesized via Pechini's method are reported. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction data measurements. unit cell parameters determined using Rietveld refinement. It was found that they decreased with increasing amount Yb ions. absorption, excitation, emission spectra and luminescence decay profiles the investigated. observed optical strongly dependent on concentration. 3+ -O 2- charge transfer transitions have great influence absorption spectra. can be seen in addition to standard bands/lines corresponding Ce-O metal-to-ligand f-f , there is band centered at 744 nm. Its intensity depends concentration dopant. Recorded times become shorter dopant due quenching. Excitation indicate energy from states F 5/2 state. issue appearance down-conversion process considered.
