摘要: It is probably not surprising that the myelinated nervous system and jaws are two characters originated in common gnathostome ancestors. For myelination would both allow rapid wielding of powerful swimming responses as a means to escape. Clearly structural features oligodendrocyte (OL)-based central (CNS) myelin Schwann cell-based peripheral (PNS) ancestor, as, without exception, among species examined, OLs myelinate all large-caliber CNS axons cells PNS axons. In spite fact most our current understanding comes from studies with laboratory animals, mainly rodents, many techniques designed for working these substantial growing literature exists on nonmammalian vertebrate and, lesser extent, invertebrates. The need more diversification has recently been stressed, investigators who consider their research an evolutionary perspective, e.g., use GenBank data suggest molecular interactions, was done ion channel–ankyrin will give wider scope.
