摘要: Our aim is to investigate the potential therapeutic value of morin against osteoporosis and elucidate mechanism action. Osteoporosis was induced in rats by a subcutaneous injection dexamethasone (DEX) for 5 weeks. Body weight regularly monitored. mineral density (BMD) determined at proximal femurs using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Pathological examination performed hematoxylin eosin staining. The relative expression osteogenic bone resorption markers real-time polymerase chain reaction Western blotting, respectively. Activation MAPK signaling pathway analyzed blotting. BMD were both significantly decreased osteoporotic rats, although partially restored intraperitoneal administration. Morin treatment also increased number trabecular bones DEX-induced rats. Mechanistically, reversed decrease increase markers, which might eventually be mediated modulation cascades. Here, we uncovered effect demonstrated its suppressive action on this disease.
