摘要: There are several drugs which known to cause intrauterine growth retardation in experimental animals and man (Tuchmann-Duplessis, 1975). This retarded may predispose neonates perinatal morbidity mortality. Morphine is be associated with growth, the extent of apparently related amount exposure (Stone et al., 1971). Nicotine smoking also implicated fetal 1975; Hasselmeyer 1979). Prior studies our laboratory have demonstrated dose-related inhibition uptake amino acid, a-aminoisobutyric acid (AIB), by components tobacco smoke (Barnwell Sastry, 1982). Intrauterine among cocaine addicts has not been well documented. However, its use as an euphoric drug recently become more popular, greater numbers pregnant females exposing their offspring (Ellinwood Kilbey, Amino acids for protein synthesis metabolic energy transported from maternal blood circulation through placenta. is, however, little information on effects above transport human
