摘要: The in vitro antiprotozoal and cytotoxic activity of the aqueous extract, 80% methanol its different soluble fractions subfractions from Brucea sumatrana seeds were assessed against two Trypanosoma (T. cruzi T. brucei brucei), Leishmania infantum chloroquine pyrimethanine-resistant K1strain P. falciparum MRC-5 cell-lines respectively. Results indicated that extract showed a effect cell lines with CC50 value 0.54 μg/ml. It however exhibited pronounced non selective (IC50 = 1.52 μg/ml, SI 0.03) L. 2.41 0.22). displayed 2.16) pyrimethamine-resistant K1 strain 2.16). All partition found to exhibit an IC50 values ranging T .cruzi, b. brucei, 0.33, 81, 81 >81 chloroform fraction rich alkaloid was (CC50 27.09 μg/ml) good 8.36 3.24) moderate cruzi, chloroquine-pyrimethane-resistant (20 50 1.55 0.43 μg/ml respectively), they (SI >6.2 >1.72 respectively). These extracts low respectively 24.05 6.82
