摘要: We analysed variation of the mitochondrial control region from willow tits through its Palaearctic distribution range. Although we found high amount genetic (π=1.114%), there was almost no differentiation between subspecies or geographical localities. This may be because a combination several ecological and factors, including relatively homogenic habitat range, lack barriers, gene flow large long-term effective population size. On contrary, in songar tit, which is sometimes considered to conspecific with lineages seem correlate locality are clearly distinct tit. concluded that common ancestors existed some 1.5–2 Myr ago south-eastern Asia. After last Ice Ages, tit expanded all Palaearctic, whereas remained eastern
