摘要: Gastric cancer is a multifactorial neoplastic pathology numbering among its causes both environmental and genetic predisposing factors. It mainly diffused in South America South-East Asia, where it shows the highest morbility percentages relatively scarcely Western countries North America. Although molecular mechanisms leading to gastric development are only partially known, three main well characterized: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, diet rich salted and/or smoked food red meat, epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin) mutations. Unhealthy H. infection able induce stomach cells genotypic phenotypic transformation, but their effects may be crossed by vegetables fresh fruits. Various authors have recently focused attention on importance of balanced diet, suggesting necessary dietary education starting from childhood. A constant surveillance will people carrying E-cadherin mutations, since they highly prone developing cancer, also within inner layers. Above all United States, several carriers decided undergo gastrectomy, preferring changing lifestyle than living with awareness possible cancer. This kind choice strictly personal, hence decision cannot suggested clinical management. Here we summarize key points prevention analyzing strategies referred different We discuss about mutations how each them can handled.
