摘要: The general objective of the multiple-use management strategy evaluation (MSE) framework is to develop and demonstrate practical science-based methods that support, under existing statutory arrangements, integrated regional planning coastal marine ecosystems. In present paper MSE focused on four sectors: oil gas, conservation, fisheries, urban industrial development. A selection cross-sectoral development scenarios, strategies computer representations, provided by relevant interest groups, represented. These include prospective future sectoral activities their impacts, response alternative policies strategies. agent-based modelling software InVitro well placed for analysing social ecological impacts in a risk-assessment such as MSE. An illustrative example tradeoffs can be recognised quantified using framework. explores implications change not only has direct impact targeted sectors, but also indirect all which are expected.
