摘要: BACKGROUND Ovarian carcinoma is the most deadly of gynecologic malignancies. Controversy exists as to whether different histologic types have a prognosis. The goal this study was determine patients with endometrioid ovary prognosis than serous carcinoma. METHODS Available records for all on oncology service epithelial ovarian from January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1989, were reviewed. Patients carcinomas matched regards age, grade, stage, and level cytoreduction. RESULTS Forty-two studied by matching 21 5-year survival 61.9% while 71.4% in (P=0.22). Of diagnosed carcinoma, mean 57 months versus 69 (P=0.30). Estrogen receptor levels not statistically significantly between two groups (P=0.108); however, progesterone did prove be (P<0.001). CONCLUSIONS When tumours are stage cytoreduction, there no difference either or length survival.
