摘要: Cd, Pb, and Zn were quantified in liver kidney of red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) which hunted during the 2003–2011 hunting seasons Galicia (NW Spain). The effects age gender evaluated to determine whether these variables should be included future biomonitoring studies. concentrations hepatic renal Cd (average 0.6 1.3 µg/g) Pb (0.8 0.06 µg/g, respectively) similar background levels, with no known toxicological relevance. Similarly, average levels (77 17 range physiological for canids. Although significant gender-dependent variations observed, effect aging was evident: both higher adults than juveniles. Age as a parameter programs focusing on trace metal bioaccumulation foxes.
