摘要: Bayard‐Alpert ionization gauges were calibrated in the range from 10−5 to about 10−1 mm Hg for various gases. In this pressure range, it is necessary operate with grid currents below 100 μa order minimize effects of gauge pumping and prevent space charge affecting operation gauge. The becomes insensitive when ion current reaches 20 30% electron current. However, linearity preserved only up an two percent Some reasons high behavior are discussed.
