摘要: Summary In our previous experiments we demonstrated that osmotic opening of the blood brain barrier (BBB) in rats by administration mannitol into internal carotid artery leads to cerebral edema. The aim this study was confirm objectively development edema and determine whether it affects spontaneous locomotor activity (SLA). Brain verified computer tomography (CT) examination SLA observed during open field test. Twenty four adult male were divided groups six: (1) control animals (C), (2) controls with anesthesia (CA), (3) sham surgery (CS), (4) experimental – BBB (MA). Osmotic disruption manifested reducing density tissue (hypodensity), suggesting a higher water content tissue. compared between C, CA, CS MA CA groups. Significant difference found only group group. first 30 min examination, after revealed marked limitation activity. Experimental results reduction induced
