摘要: Wnt signalling regulates β-catenin-dependent developmental processes through the Dishevelled protein (Dsh). Dsh two distinct pathways, one mediated by β-catenin and other Jun kinase (JNK). We have purified a Dsh-associated from Drosophila that encodes homologue of Caenorhabditis elegans PAR-1, known determinant polarity during asymmetric cell divisions. Treating cells with increases endogenous PAR-1 activity coincident phosphorylation. potentiates activation pathway but blocks JNK pathway. Suppressing function inhibits in mammalian cells, Xenopus embryos. seems to be positive regulator an inhibitor These findings show polarity, is also modulator Wnt–β-catenin signalling, indicating link between important pathways.
