摘要: In the present study, we investigated effects of waterborne copper (Cu) on levels metallothionein (MT) and malondialdehyde (MDA), as well activities superoxide dismutase (SOD) catalase (CAT) in gills cichlid fish Oreochromis niloticus. The Cu concentrations were measured using an atomic absorption spectrometer. sandwich-ELISA was used to measure MT, SOD, CAT, MDA. that exposed 1, 5, 10 mg Cu/L significantly increased at day 1 (D1), then gradually decreased starting from D2, reaches similar value with controls D5. A tendency has been observed MT gills. All Cu-exposed showed highest level D1, D3 a plateau D4 SOD CAT all pattern: again MDA no significant difference. indifference suggested antioxidant defense systems (SOD CAT) combined induction able completely scavenge ROS.
