摘要: Purpose To compare diffusion weighted imaging metrics in gray and white matter brain regions of patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) to those secondary demyelinating diseases such as neurosarcoid acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). Materials Methods Diffusion scans were performed apparent coefficients 12 interest determined 30 MS patients, 21 4 ADEM patients. Results Mean significantly higher than non-MS 6 the corpus callosal assessed but not any non-callosal or assessed. Conclusion Elevated within callosum on may potentially help differentiate between other affecting central nervous system matter. J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2009;30:732–736. © 2009 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
