摘要: One of the crucial steps during trials for Zika and other vaccines is to recruit participants understand how participants' attitudes sociodemographic characteristics affect willingness participate (WTP). This study was conducted assess WTP, its explanatory variables, impact financial compensation on WTP in Indonesia. A health facility-based cross-sectional eleven regencies Aceh West Sumatra provinces Participants were recruited via a convenience sampling method interviewed. The associations between variables assessed using two-step logistic regression analysis. total 1,102 parents approached, these 956 (86.8%) completed interview included Of those, 144 (15.1%) willing vaccine trial without compensation. In multivariate analysis, tied an age more than 50 years old, compared 20⁻29 (odds ratio (OR): 5.0; 95% confidence interval (CI): 2.37⁻10.53), being female (OR: 2.20; CI: 1.11⁻4.37), having heard about 2.41; 1.59⁻3.65). Participants' increased gradually with higher rate 62.3% at highest offer (US$ 350.4), those who still unwilling (37.7%) had poorer attitude towards childhood vaccination. highlights that pre-existing knowledge vaccination are important determining community members trial.
