摘要: We have isolated the Drosophila melanogaster homolog (Dint-1) of int-1, a conserved cellular oncogene implicated in viral mammary tumorigenesis mice. The deduced Dint-1 protein sequence contains 468 amino acids and starts with hydrophobic leader; it is 54% identical to int-1 sequence, all 23 cysteine residues are conserved. putative has an extra 85 acids, encoded on additional exon. expressed throughout development, but transcripts barely detectable adult flies. Hybridization situ embryos reveals segmented pattern expression. show that segment polarity gene wingless map same location. suggests Dint-1/wingless functions morphogenesis as signal cell-cell communication.
