摘要: The current review on the function of neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 (NCF1) and induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) is based a genetic search for major genes controlling autoimmune inflammatory disorders. Surprisingly, disease-promoting allele determined lower ROS response was therefore in complete contrast to prevailing dogma. Once cloned, it opened possibility dissect this complex field from new angle with possibilities study role vivo. We found that NCF1 NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) complex-derived an important regulator several chronic disorders by using models rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis gout, lupus. could affect many different types diseases common denominator seems be regulate macrophages, which prevents inflammation going chronic. currently changing being seen as toxic agents will promote toward more view crucial regulators immune pathways.
